Feldkirchen/Oranienburg, July 2025 – Shortly before the start of the summer holidays, Oberhavel Verkehrsgesellschaft GmbH (OVG) is launching a new ATRON ordering portal for student tickets for the Oberhavel district. By the start of the new school year, more than 10,000 subscription contracts are expected to be issued via the portal.

With the introduction of the new subscription portal for student tickets, the time-consuming registration process carried out by the transport company has been replaced by a modern online registration system. Ticket holders can now make numerous changes and adjustments themselves, which no longer need to be managed by the transport company. In addition to the increased convenience for students, this also significantly reduces the workload for the administrative teams.

By the end of 2025, Barnimer Busgesellschaft (BBG) and Uckermärkische Verkehrsgesellschaft (UVG) will also introduce modern online registration for subscribers. Applications for student tickets will continue to be submitted to the relevant authorities in the respective district. All subscription contracts will then be processed via the AboSystem 5.

Parallel to the subscription portal, OVG launched AboSystem 5, a state-of-the-art CRM system with its own background system for customer and subscription contract management. All systems are operated in a German data center and meet all requirements for high reliability, flexible connection to the existing infrastructure, and data protection in accordance with the GDPR.

“We are very pleased that we were able to help OVG modernize its subscriber management and are now motivated to tackle further joint projects,” said Oliver Knittel, Key Account Manager at the ATRON Group, after the successful project acceptance.
